직선 f(x)와 g(x) 가 다음과 같을 때, 교점 (x1, y1)을 구한다.

f(x) = a1*x + b1, g(x) = a2*x + b2, (a1≠a2)

교점에서, f(x1) = g(x1) = y1 이므로,

a1*x1 + b1 = a2*x1 + b2

x1 = (b2-b1)/(a1-a2)

이를 f(x)에 대입하면,

f(x1) = y1 = a1*(b2-b1)/(a1-a2)+b1
